Life's No Rehearsal is a spacious two-storey holiday house located in the coastal town of Hardwicke Bay, perfect for a family beach getaway or group holiday on Yorke Peninsula. With sea views from the upstairs living area and balcony, Life's No Rehearsal offers comfort, space, and everything needed for a relaxing seaside escape.
Sleeping up to 13 guests, Life's No Rehearsal has 4 bedrooms. Upstairs is the master queen bedroom with a single bed and trundle, while downstairs there is a second queen bedroom, a bedroom with 2 bunk beds (4 singles), and a trio bunk with a double on the bottom and single on top.
Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, with guests needing to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels, or linen can be hired. A cot is also available, and guests need to bring all bedding to use.
There are 2 bathrooms at Life's No Rehearsal. The main bathroom is located downstairs and includes a bath, walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. Upstairs is a second bathroom accessible from the master bedroom and living area, with a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity.
The accommodation has year-round comfort with reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the upstairs lounge and downstairs family room. There are ceiling fans in the upstairs living area, master queen bedroom and the downstairs queen bedroom. Wall-mounted fans are located in the downstairs bunk and trio bunk bedrooms for guest comfort.
The upstairs living area at Life's No Rehearsal includes the kitchen, dining and lounge spaces, and opens onto the balcony with sea views. The lounge room has a large television with USB and HDMI ports, BluRay player, a selection of DVDs, and a telescope for admiring the coastline from the balcony. The lounge has comfortable seating and a kids' table and chairs, with a large dining table adjacent to the kitchen.
The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge/freezer and a bar fridge. There is also a variety of kitchen appliances including a sandwich press, toaster, kettle, airfryer, slow cooker, toastie maker, electric frypan and rice maker. A high chair and stairgate are also available for those travelling with young children.
Downstairs, the family room offers an additional living space with lounge seating, television with USB and HDMI ports, DVD player, CD player, a selection of toys and books, and space for the whole family to enjoy.
Life's No Rehearsal has a top load washing machine, iron, clothes airer and a rotary clothesline located in the rear yard for guest use.
The upstairs balcony is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sea views, with bench seating and outdoor dining, along with a Weber Q gas barbecue.
At the rear of the house is a second undercover entertaining area with ceiling fans and outdoor dining. The fenced rear yard also includes an outdoor foot shower with handheld attachment, fish cleaning sink, and a fire pit (guests need to bring their own wood and observe local fire regulations).
Pets are welcome outside in the fenced yard at Life's No Rehearsal by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.
There is undercover carport parking for up to 2 cars and a boat, with additional off-street parking for 4 more vehicles. For those coming to fish, there are boat launching facilities available nearby at Point Turton or Port Minlacowie.
Located just a short walk from the Hardwicke Bay beachfront, Life's No Rehearsal is ideally positioned with a beach access path directly across the road.
