Bliss At The Bay

Bliss At The Bay is a single-level holiday house located less than 200 metres from the picturesque Moonta Bay beachfront. Ideal for families or small groups, this comfortable retreat offers a relaxing stay with all the essentials for a memorable getaway to Yorke Peninsula.

Sleeping up to 6 guests (maximum 5 adults), Bliss At The Bay has 2 bedrooms featuring a queen bed in the master bedroom, with a trio bunk (double on the bottom, single on top) and bunk in the second bedroom. Quilts, blankets, and pillows are provided, but guests need to bring their own linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats, and tea towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

The bathroom includes a bath, walk-in shower, vanity, and a separate toilet; with a hair dryer provided.

Bliss At The Bay has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans in the master bedroom and dining space. Pedestal fans are also available for guest use. A wall-mounted television is provided in the master bedroom for added comfort.

The open-plan kitchen and dining space includes bar stool seating at the kitchen island and a wall-mounted television with USB and HDMI ports.

The well-equipped kitchen features an electric oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge with a freezer on the bottom, and a coffee pod machine (guests need to bring Caffitaly pods or purchase them locally). Kitchen appliances include a kettle, toaster, and air fryer, ensure all culinary needs are met.

A separate lounge room with air-conditioning offers a comfortable space to relax, with a large wall-mounted SMART television, complimentary WiFi, books, and board games provided for entertainment.

Laundry facilities include a top load washing machine, handheld vacuum, and a rotary clothesline in the yard.

The expansive undercover outdoor entertaining area is a standout feature at Bliss At The Bay. With shaded blinds for semi-enclosure, the entertaining space has ample seating and dining options, a speaker system, an additional fridge, a wall-mounted fan, and a flat plate gas barbecue. An outdoor shower and toilet add to the convenience of outdoor living.

The fully fenced yard features a lawned area and a fish cleaning sink. The Moonta Bay jetty is a short walk away for jetty fishing, or the boat ramp is just a short drive away to the south from the holiday house, those keen on fishing can join a charter with an experienced guide departing from Port Hughes. Crab rakes are available for guests to use during Blue Swimmer crab season (months with an 'r' are the best for raking0, with the Moonta Bay beach just a short walk away.

Pets are welcome outside at Bliss At The Bay by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.

Parking options include an undercover carport for 1 car, off-street driveway parking for another, and secure space in the fenced yard for both a car and a boat. Guests also have access to the rear shed.

Less than 5 minutes' drive away, Moonta has shopping facilities including a supermarket, hardware, chemist, cafes & boutique retail stores. There are dining options near the jetty precincts at both Moonta Bay & Port Hughes.
