Maritime Views

Located less than a 10-minute walk to the Moonta Bay beach, Maritime Views is a 2-storey holiday house with a wide range of entertaining options.

Maritime Views sleeps up to 9 people in 3 bedrooms – upstairs are 2 queen bedrooms; downstairs is a 3rd bedroom with a queen, single & bunk. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. A portacot is supplied, and guests need to bring all bedding to use.

The upstairs bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, toilet & vanity. Downstairs, near the laundry is a 2nd toilet.

There is heating in all 3 bedrooms, and in the downstairs lounge room. The lounge rooms and all bedrooms have ceiling fans, and there is portable evaporative cooling.

The lounge room is spacious with a corner lounge suite, large television (with USB & HDMI ports), and complimentary WiFi for guests during their stay.

There is a well-equipped kitchen at Maritime Views with a gas stove, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine & large fridge/freezer. There are a range of small kitchen appliances including slow cooker, rice cooker & sandwich press.

The fully supplied laundry has a front load washing machine, heat pump clothes dryer, iron, ironing board & rotary clothesline in the backyard.

The rumpus room at the rear of the holiday house is ideal for a kids or adults retreat with reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning, ceiling fan & plenty of sofa seating. There is a large television with USB & HDMI ports, DVD player, DVD's, CD player, radio, board games, jigsaws, Connect 4 & NBA Jam arcade game.

The outdoor entertaining area adjoins the rumpus room and house, with bench seating in the pergola area and a ceiling fan. For meals outdoors, there is a choice between a flat plate gas barbecue and a Weber Q barbecue.

Pets are welcome outside in the fenced rear yard at Maritime Views by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.

Guests staying at this holiday accommodation will love the games room in the shed with an 8-ball table, and sporting equipment for enjoying the backyard including cricket set, basketball hoop, basketballs & footballs, and fishing rods, with a large lawned area.

Maritime Views has off-street driveway parking for 2 cars, with boat parking in the secure yard behind a 4-foot fence at the rear of the house.

Less than 10-minutes' walk away or a short drive is the Moonta Bay beachfront with the Splash Town water park open seasonally, or café options overlooking the water.

Moonta is less than 5 minutes' drive from the holiday house, with a range of shopping and dining options including supermarket, chemist, boutique stores, cafes, bakeries and more.

Or for a great meal, head south to Port Hughes to the tavern or general store, or Wallaroo is less than 20 minutes' drive away for a range of restaurants and dining.
