Mehra Abode

With a raised viewing platform offering fantastic sea views across Moonta Bay, Mehra Abode is a single-level holiday house within easy walking distance of the beach.

Mehra Abode has 3 bedrooms – queen, queen, bunk & single – and can sleep up to 7 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

There is a main bathroom in the holiday house with a walk-in shower, vanity & toilet. In the read yard is an outdoor shower & additional toilet.

There is reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living area & in all 3 bedrooms. The living area, kitchen & all bedrooms have ceiling fans, with pedestal fans also available.

Mehra Abode has a spacious open plan living area, with the lounge room & dining space across split levels.

In the lounge room is lounge seating with a large wall-mounted television (with USB & HDMI ports), board games & books. Complimentary WiFi is provided for guests staying at the holiday house.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove, microwave, Nespresso coffee pod machine (guests need to bring Vertuo Next compatible pods or purchase locally), & medium fridge with freezer on top.

There are laundry facilities for guests with a top load washing machine (located in bathroom), iron & ironing board.

In the rear fenced yard of the holiday accommodation, guests can relax in the undercover outdoor entertaining area with dining seating & hooded gas barbecue. Mehra Abode has an outdoor shower & additional toilet in the backyard.

A fantastic feature of Mehra Abode is the raised viewing platform at the rear of the property, which provides views across the bay from its elevated position. This unique entertaining space is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the view, especially the amazing Spencer Gulf sunsets over the bay.

There is off-street driveway parking for up to 2 cars at Mehra Abode.

From the accommodation, it's just a short 5-minute walk to the Moonta Bay jetty precinct, Splash Town water park and dining options. Or grab the car for a short drive south to Port Hughes to the tavern or general store.

Moonta is only a quick drive away and has a range of shopping options including a supermarket, hardware, chemist & boutique retail stores; plus a great choice of hotels, cafes & takeaways.
