Moonta Bay Getaway

Moonta Bay Getaway is a single-level holiday house with everything needed for a Yorke Peninsula family holiday including a theatre and games room, with a large outdoor entertaining area, and is located just a short walk to the Moonta Bay beachfront.

With 3 bedrooms – king; queen; bunk, single and trundle – Moonta Bay Getaway sleeps up to 8 people (maximum 7 adults). Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

The master king bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a spa bath, walk-in shower, vanity and toilet; and the main bathroom has 3-way access with a bath, walk-in shower, vanity and separate toilet.

With reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning throughout all rooms of the holiday house, Moonta Bay Getaway provides year-round comfort across all seasons.

The central plan living area comprises the kitchen and dining space, with access via sliding doors to the undercover outdoor entertaining area.

Moonta Bay Getaway has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, filtered water, dishwasher, coffee machine, large side-by-side fridge/freezer and a range of kitchen appliances including kettle, toaster, sandwich press, slow cooker, electric beater and electric frypan.

The lounge room at the front of the house has corner lounge seating with a chaise, a wall-mounted television (with USB and HDMI ports) and a DVD player.

Located off the living area, Moonta Bay Getaway has a spacious theatre room with blockout curtains, electric recliners and bean bags for a home cinema experience. With a large wall-mounted television (with USB and HDMI ports, DVD player, DVDs and surround sound speaker system; this relaxing space is a popular feature of the holiday house.

Another popular space within the holiday house is the games room, with a pool table, cues and balls; plus a tabletop arcade game with games including Space Invaders, Pac Man and Donkey Kong.

For those working remotely while on holiday, a desk is located within the master bedroom walk-in robe, and guests have access to complimentary WiFi for staying connected.

Moonta Bay Getaway has full laundry facilities with a top load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ironing board, and pull-up clothesline in the rear yard.

The spacious undercover entertaining area is accessible from the living area, with a hooded gas barbecue, ceiling fan and pull-down café blinds for protection from weather. Seating options within the entertaining area include outdoor dining seating and a lounge area.

The large rear yard is fenced, with space for parking a car and boat securely behind the gate, and the driveway offers off-street parking for another 2 cars.

Moonta Bay Getaway is just a short drive to the beach, Splash Town Water Park (open seasonally) and the jetty precinct, or around a 20-minute walk.

For a range of shopping and dining options including supermarket, chemist, boutique stores, cafes, bakeries and more, or to visit the heritage mining attractions, Moonta is less than 5 minutes' drive away.
