Sun of a Beach

With a large fenced yard, spacious undercover entertaining and lawned area, Sun of a Beach is a single-level holiday house with everything needed for a short or long holiday in Moonta Bay, and with no stairs, is ideal for those wanting accessible accommodation.

Sun of a Beach sleeps up to 13 people across 4 large bedrooms – queen, queen, queen; with a trio bunk, double, single and trundle in the largest bedroom. A portacot is supplied at the holiday house, and guests need to bring all bedding to use.

Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

There are 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and bath in the main bathroom, separate toilet and spacious vanity. The ensuite bathroom adjoins the master queen bedroom with a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet.

Sun of a Beach has reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning throughout for year-round comfort, with a portable heater in the family room, and pedestal fans.

The family room at the front of the house is ideal for a kids or adults retreat with a spacious chaise lounge, and large wall-mounted television.

The open plan living area is spacious with the lounge room, dining and kitchen, and direct access to the outdoor undercover entertaining area, lawn and rear yard.

Sun of a Beach has sofa seating and bean bags in the lounge room, with a wide range of entertainment options including a large wall-mounted television (with USB and HDMI port), Bluetooth karaoke machine, Bluetooth speakers, board games, books, toys and games. Guests also have access to complimentary WiFi during their stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer on top and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a wide range of kitchen appliances including kettle, toaster, electric frypan, sandwich press, blender, hand mixer and slow cooker.

There are full laundry facilities at the accommodation with a front load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and clotheshorse.

The large undercover entertaining area overlooks a lawned area within the fenced yard, with outdoor dining and seating, a flat plate gas barbecue and drinks fridge. Sun of a Beach has a range of equipment for families with a beach cart, kids bikes (guests will need to bring helmets) and outdoor games.

There is secure off-street parking in the rear yard for a car and a boat, with street parking at the front of the house.

Sun of a Beach is just 10 minutes' walk to the Moonta Bay beach, with a beach access path at the end of Moonta Road. Once at the beach, another 5 minutes' walk to the south is the Moonta Bay foreshore precinct with the jetty, cafe and Splash Town water park (open seasonally).

Moonta is a 5 minutes' drive from Sun of a Beach, with a range of shopping options including supermarket, hardware store, chemist, boutique stores, garden centre and much more, along with the Moonta Mines heritage area to explore.

Port Hughes, Moonta Bay & Moonta offers a great selection of meal choices with a range of cafes, hotels & restaurants in all 3 locations; with Wallaroo and Kadina only 15 minutes' drive away for options.
