Horizons is a spacious 2-storey holiday home in Port Hughes, offering a comfortable getaway for families and groups.

This two-storey accommodation features 4 bedrooms, accommodating up to 9 guests (maximum 7 adults, with top bunks only suitable for children). The master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, while the downstairs bedrooms include a double bed, 2 single beds, and a bunk with an upper bunk (3 singles). Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

The main bathroom downstairs includes a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet, while the upstairs master bedroom has an ensuite with a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet. A convenient powder room is located upstairs.

Horizons has ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout ensuring year-round comfort, with ceiling fans in the upstairs living area and downstairs lounge room.

The upstairs living area is bright and spacious, comprising a lounge room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, with access to the balcony overlooking The Dunes golf course.

The kitchen features a gas oven and stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer on the bottom, and a Nespresso coffee machine (guests need to bring standard compatible pods or purchase them locally). Kitchen appliances include a rice maker, kettle, toaster, electric knife, electric beater, and juicer.

A large dining table and counter seating provide ample space for meals, while the lounge area has comfortable sofa seating, a large wall-mounted television with a soundbar, and WiFi access for guests.

The balcony is perfect for outdoor entertaining, featuring a pizza oven, dining seating, and a lounge area to relax and enjoy the golf course views.

Entertainment options at Horizons are extensive, catering to guests of all ages. The downstairs lounge room offers a dedicated space for relaxation and play, featuring a large lounge and armchair, a wall-mounted television, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, and an impressive range of indoor games. Guests can enjoy arcade games, a foosball table, and board games, while a bunk bedroom includes a desk with two monitors for those needing to work remotely.

The outdoor areas provide even more ways to stay entertained. The large undercover entertaining area overlooks the fenced rear yard and lawn, with outdoor seating and a flat plate gas barbecue with a low hood, perfect for alfresco dining.

Sports and recreation options abound, with a table tennis setup, croquet set, and cricket set available for friendly competitions. In the cooler months, the fire pit offers a cosy spot to gather in the evenings (guests need to bring their own wood and observe local fire regulations).
