Located within easy walking distance to the Port Hughes beachfront and The Dunes Port Hughes golf course, Lil Blue Beach House is a single-level pet-friendly holiday house with plenty of space for the whole family to relax.
Lil Blue Beach House has 3 bedrooms – queen, queen, trio bunk; sleeping up to 7 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.
There is one bathroom at the holiday house with a bath, walk-in shower, vanity and toilet; which also has access from the 2nd queen bedroom; hairdryer and in the laundry is a 2nd toilet.
The master queen bedroom and living area has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning, with ceiling fans in both queen bedrooms and the lounge room.
Lil Blue Beach House has a spacious open plan living area comprising the lounge room, dining and kitchen.
The lounge room has large sofa seating with chaise, plus a wall-mounted television, and guests have access to complimentary Netflix and WiFi during their stay.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, filtered water, coffee machine, and large fridge/freezer; plus a range of kitchen appliances including Nutribullet, air fryer, kettle, toaster and sandwich press.
Within the laundry is a 2nd toilet and top load washing machine, with a rotary clothesline in the rear yard.
Under the rear verandah is an undercover entertaining area overlooking the fenced backyard, with dining seating and a flat plate gas barbecue.
Lil Blue Beach House has a fire pit in the backyard, and guests will need to bring wood to use and check fire regulations.
The Port Hughes boat ramp is just a short drive from the holiday house for launching a boat or joining a fishing charter leaving from Port Hughes, and there are fish cleaning facilities at the holiday house.
Pets are welcome inside at Lil Blue Beach House by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.
There is off-street parking for up to 3 cars at the accommodation, with the choice of 2 driveways for parking; and boats can be parked in the yard behind the gate.
Lil Blue Beach House is a 5 minutes' walk to the nearest beach access, or a longer walk (or short drive) to the jetty and tavern precinct. The Dunes Port Hughes is close to the accommodation, bring your golf clubs with you and head to the course for a round of golf.
Moonta & Moonta Bay are a 5-minute drive away from Lil Blue Beach House with a wide selection of shopping options available in Moonta including supermarket, chemist, hardware store; with a choice of hotels and cafes providing dining options.
