Located across from the Port Victoria golf club and only a short drive to the boat ramp, Wilgra By The Beach is a single-level pet friendly holiday house with a fully fenced yard.

Wilgra By The Beach has 3 bedrooms – queen, queen, bunk and single; sleeping up to 7 people (maximum 5 adults). Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. A portacot is supplied, and guests need to bring all bedding to use.

There are 2 bathrooms at the holiday house with the master queen bedroom having an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. The spacious main bathroom has a spa bath, shower (over bath), toilet and vanity.

The spacious living area has reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning, with access from the lounge room to the front deck, great for relaxing and enjoying sea views across the golf course. There are entertainment options in the lounge room including a television (with HDMI and USB ports), DVD player, board games and books.

Wilgra By The Beach has a compact and well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and cooktop, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, medium sized fridge/freezer, and a range of kitchen appliances including kettle, toaster, sandwich press and stickmixer.

Laundry facilities at the accommodation include a top load washing machine, clothes dryer and a rotary clothesline in the rear yard.

A large undercover entertaining area overlook the rear yard and grassed area, with outdoor seating and dining facilities, and a hooded gas barbecue.

Pets are welcome outside in the fenced yard at Wilgra By The Beach by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.

There is plenty of secure parking, with off-street undercover carport parking for a car or boat in the driveway, plus space for another car behind the driveway gate. At the rear of the house, there is space for parking another car or boat in the fenced yard.

For those keen to go fishing during their Port Victoria holiday, the boat ramp is only a 2-minute drive away or join a local fishing charter to find some of the best fishing spots in the gulf waters.

From Wilgra By The Beach, Rifle Butts Beach is just a 3 minute drive to the south or a 20 minute walk. Walkers and cyclists can follow the Walk The Yorke trail south towards Port Rickaby following the coastline, or head north towards the Port Victoria jetty, with access to the trail across the road from the holiday house.

For shopping and dining, Port Victoria has a supermarket and hotel in the main street, along with a seafood retailer and foreshore kiosk. At the jetty precinct, the maritime museum provides an insight into the agricultural and maritime history of Port Victoria, and the significant geological sites along the coast.

About Port Victoria

Port Victoria is located on the western coastline of Yorke Peninsula and has a wealth of maritime heritage for history lovers.

Anyone with a love for the sea and its history must visit Port Victoria, which is known as the last of the windjammer ports. The small Port Victoria Maritime Museum at the start of the jetty showcases the town's history and maritime heritage and is well worth a visit.

Today Port Victoria is a paradise for fishers and divers alike. The Port Victoria Jetty is long and popular with swimmers and fishers.

The Wardang Island Maritime Heritage Trail offers 8 shipwrecks surrounding the nearby waters off Wardang Island.  You can explore these and the underwater diving trail is very popular with divers. If you’re not a diver, there are 6 land-based interpretative signs.

The popular Port Victoria Geology Trail goes from south of the jetty for 4km to Rifle Butts Beach. Pick up a brochure for this trail from the local shop. There are also foreshore walking trails, stretching both north and south from the jetty.

Port Victoria has a hotel, takeaway and general store. Nearby Maitland is just 10 minutes drive to the north for all other needs including hardware store, chemist and bakery.

For something completely different you can experience 40,000 years of aboriginal dreaming, culture and heritage by joining a tour with Aboriginal Cultural Tours - Adjahdura Land, Yorke Peninsula. This award-winning tour operator has tours of nearby Point Pearce and its Aboriginal lands.  It also takes tour groups to Innes National Park at the foot of Yorke Peninsula.

Port Victoria is located approximately 2 hours from Adelaide.
