Ramsay Retreat is an affordable holiday house at Port Vincent, just one street back from the foreshore and less than 100m from the ‘back beach’.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, Ramsay Retreat has 3 bedrooms – queen, double, 2 x bunks. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels & tea-towels) with them for their stay.
There is one bathroom with a shower, vanity & separate bath; plus a separate toilet.
Ramsay Retreat has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning in the living area, a combined open place space comprising the lounge, kitchen & dining rooms; with a portable heater & pedestal fans also available.
The lounge room has a television with USB port & DVD player, along with DVD’s & board games for guests to enjoy, plus a radio & iPod docking station.
Ramsay Retreat has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric stove & cooktop, coffee plunger, microwave, large fridge/freezer & coffee pod machine.
Outside, Ramsay Retreat has a large secure yard, with outdoor dining on the undercover rear deck and a hooded gas barbecue. It’s also a pet friendly holiday rental; just let the Country Getaways staff know when booking that you are bringing a pet with you for your stay.
There is off-street parking for 2 cars in the secure yard behind a fence, with room for a boat; and for those coming to fish there is a fish cleaning area at the side of the house.
If you’re coming to catch Blue Swimmers Crabs, the shallow waters at the back beach offer plentiful catches for those raking for crabs.
The Walk The Yorke walking trail passes through Port Vincent along the coastline and can be reached at the end of Ramsay Street for those wanting to enjoy a morning or evening walk.
Ramsay Retreat is a great option for families looking for holiday accommodation by the beach, with the both Port Vincent beach’s less than a 5-minute walk away.
The main street of Port Vincent is just 5 minutes away, with a cafe, supermarket, chemist & hotel; and along the foreshore is the kiosk & playground.
