Rogues Point is located to the south of Ardrossan on the eastern coastline of Yorke Peninsula, and is a small settlement made up of shacks lining the shore and surrounding hill.
The township has a tidal shallow beach, and is renowned for its crabbing – with the best crabbing to be found in the months with an ‘r’ in them.
The area is ideal for walking - choose the beach or the James Well/Rogues Point to Pine Point Walking Trail.
Located at the end of Merella Park is a cement boat ramp (it’s best to launch at high tide from this ramp).
There are no shops at Rogues Point, but Ardrossan is only a 10 minute drive away. Ardrossan has a supermarket, service station, bakery, chemist, 2 hardware/garden stores, opportunity shop and much more.
Yorke Peninsula’s first winery & cellar door, Barley Stacks Wines is a short drive away. Drop in to sample and purchase locally made wines.
Rogues Point is located approximately 2 hours drive from Adelaide.
