Just 100 metres from the beach, Dolphin View is located across the road from the beachfront at The Pines, on the north-western coastline of Yorke Peninsula. With coastal sea views from the large front deck, this single level holiday house is perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stay.

Dolphin View has 3 bedrooms – queen, 2 bunks (4 singles), 2 singles; sleeping up to 8 people (maximum 6 adults). Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired.

The holiday house has a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet; with a top load washing machine in the bathroom.

Dolphin View is an ideal accommodation choice throughout all seasons of the year, with reverse cycle split system air-conditioning and wood combustion heater in the living area. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and in the lounge room and dining space, with portable heating also available.

The open plan living area is spacious and comprises the lounge room, dining, kitchen and office space, with access to the large front deck offering sea views across Spencer Gulf.

The lounge room has comfortable sofa seating in front of the combustion heater, with entertainment options including a large television (with USB and HDMI ports), BluRay player and DVDs. Guests can also enjoy the wide selection of board games and books, or play the Playstation console, with controllers and games provided.

Dolphin View caters for those needing to work remotely during their stay, with a desk and printer available to use, and complimentary WiFi for guests.

There is a fully equipped kitchen at the accommodation with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, rainwater, large fridge/freezer, coffee plunger and coffee percolator. A large range of kitchen appliances includes a kettle, toaster, multicooker, steamer, stick blender, Nutri bullet, slow cooker, electric frypan and toasted sandwich maker.

Laundry facilities at the holiday accommodation include a top load washing machine, with an iron and ironing board.

Outside, guests can enjoy the large front deck with undercover dining and seating with sea views and stunning sunsets over the ocean. A flat plate gas barbecue is located on the deck, along with a chiminea and wall heater, and ramp access to the unfenced yard.

There is off-street parking for 2 cars, with room for a boat, and the boat ramp is conveniently located across the road for launching at high tide (at low tide a tractor launch is recommended). Or join a fishing charter at Point Turton for local knowledge and some of the best fishing spots in the gulf.

Stretch your legs on the Walk The Yorke trail with the walking trail just across the road from Dolphin View, providing a range of flora and birds to see along the trail, and interpretive signage.

Dolphin View is perfect for groups stays or family getaways in a secluded location at The Pines and is only 40 minutes' drive to Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, or head along the bottom of the peninsula's coastline to discover stunning beaches.

Nearby Warooka is a short drive away for shopping, dining and services, including a supermarket, gallery, chemist, hotel and hardware store.

About The Pines

The Pines is located near the ‘bottom end’ of Yorke Peninsula and is in close proximity to Corny Point and Point Souttar.

This location is ideal for holiday makers who enjoy a quiet break. There are many enjoyable activities such as swimming, fishing, boating and snorkelling.

The Pines is ideally situated for a visit to Innes National Park, which is only a 40 minute drive away along a sealed road. Innes National Park is a must-visit attraction, with kilometres of spectacular coastline and is great for those who enjoy wildlife, walking trails and surfing.

The Pines is approximately a 3 hour drive from Adelaide.
